Following the reports that Paris Saint-Germain will not let go of Kylian Mbappe easily by offering him a yearly salary of £50 million, Real Madrid is not backing down. The Los Blancos still want the Parisian to move out of PSG, and the Spanish giants are willing to spend some £100 million for the daring transfer raid.

Real's purchase plan for the World Cup winner is said to unfold in the last year of Mbappe's agreement with PSG. The Spanish club appeared convinced the Frenchman would leave Paris for the price that will be laid out on the table, which is considered a bargain for a player of Mbappe's caliber.

The Sun said Real will replicate the tactic they use in the acquisition of Eden Hazard from Chelsea. By making a push in the final year of Mbappe's contract with PSG, the Spanish side is hoping that the Paris club will soften its stand and make a deal.

The scenario that Real would like to play out is PSG will sell cheap, which should be better than being forced to release Mbappe for free in 2021.

However, that likely is not the case as far as PSG is concerned. The same report said the club is willing to make an offer that the 21-year-old will find hard to refuse - an extension deal that will see him collect a yearly salary of more than £50 million.

If the apple that PSG will dangle before the Frenchman will prove tempting, Mbappe will be making a dream come true for him, and that is the specter of getting paid to the level of football legends Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

But even in the absence of a record pay, Brazilian superstar Neymar said his PSG teammate has the makings of a football legend if performance so far will be the sole basis. Sure enough, Bleacher Report said Mbappe has already written record stats in a total of 207 games for club and country.

The France international boasts of 122 goals and 71 assists, and he is only expected to increase his level of gameplay in the years to come.

"Kylian is a phenomenon. He has the potential to become one of the best players in history. To have him as a teammate is a huge honor. We understand one another very well on the pitch and off it too," Neymar was reported as saying.

When asked recently on the transfer speculations about him, Mbappe said his focus is on the game and PSG.

"Now I'm with PSG and I'm 100 percent with the club. I want to help the club grow this season, to win a lot of titles, so for me it's not good to talk about [my future]," Sport Bible reported the PSG star as saying.

He added that he is reserving thoughts on what to do next at the close of the current campaign.
