Normally unwilling to provide updates that touch on Michael Schumacher's health status, Corinna, wife of the racing legend, broke her silence in support of a Facebook fan page that was put up by fans of Schumacher in Kerpen, Germany. In her message, Corinna said small things lead to greater possibilities.

Schumacher's wife reached out to the people behind "KeepFightingMichael," a Facebook page that will go live next week to commemorate the sportsman's 51st birthday. The group is composed of Schumacher fans living in Kerpen, where the seven-time racing champion grew up.

The love and support given to the injured F1 racer, despite his continued absence from the public eye, will surely help the elite driver to recover, Corinna said.

"Many small particles form a huge mosaic. Together you are stronger, and that is exactly how combined forces of the (KeepFightingMichael) movement make it easier to encourage others," the NY Daily News reported the Schumacher spouse as saying.

Schumacher figured in a skiing accident in 2004 and suffered a head trauma that left him in a coma and paralyzed. Details on his health condition have been kept from the public since then, a move that, according to Corinna, was in accordance with his husband's request.

The news blackout, however, did not prevent fans of the driver to hope that Schumacher will soon resurface, according to News.com.au.

"Six years full of hope that Michael will one day go out in public again. We know that Michael is in good hands, that he gets love, security, and confidence. Michael can count himself lucky to have such a strong family behind him," the report quoted Reiner Ferling, head of the Kerpen fan club, as saying.

Ferling added that even as information on Schumacher remains scarce, per the dictates of the sportsman's family, "we will provide all kinds of support that we can provide."

The last big news on Schumacher's delicate condition was provided by his doctor, identified in the same report as Jean-Francois Payen, who confirmed that the German came out of coma five years ago, or a year after the near-fatal accident he met at the Alps.

Payen revealed that his patient is undergoing rehabilitation and is in a treatment program designed for a "regeneration period" that will take one to three years. The doctor added that he visits Schumacher regularly, and the Schumacher family members are provided health updates when they come up.

At the same time, Payen praised the "extraordinary will power" that Corinna has displayed and highlighted the fact that "she sees things very clearly and will do anything to make her husband's condition better."
