Queen Elizabeth might be isolation in Windsor Castle along with Prince Philip as they are part of the vulnerable amidst this coronavirus pandemic. But even as she won't be able to physically attend to her royal duties for Great Britain, Her Majesty is reportedly using Skype and FaceTime to be updated on what's going on, especially with the NHS workers in the frontlines.

According to Daily Express, Queen Elizabeth is learning to use these communication technologies to touch base with this health crisis' heroes. From her home in Windsor, the Queen is boosting the morale of the health workers by video conferencing and speaking directly to those who are working hard to save as many lives as possible from COVID-19.

She is also getting regular briefings from the government and medical experts. Apart from work, the Queen is said to be using Skype and Facetime to connect with her family members.

The monarch is still following the directives of the government to limit face-to-face meetings for those over 70 years old. The Queen also scaled down on her royal engagements after it was pretty clear that the virus spread was becoming an increasing threat to public health.

Queen Elizabeth is also reportedly preparing another speech from her country home, which will be aired on British television networks in the coming weeks. A palace source revealed that the pre-recorded national address will come at the most significant time. The royal aide said that the Queen wants to be reassuring to the public.

Meanwhile, The Sun reported that one staff working within Buckingham Palace tested positive for coronavirus. In fact, the killer bug might have been exposed at a time when Queen Elizabeth was still inside her official residence.

Queen Elizabeth was driven to Windsor Castle on Thursday, March 19. Her scheduled move came a week earlier as the Queen was supposed to stay in her country home for the Easter season.

The royal aide who has coronavirus is reportedly in self-isolation and is recovering. With over 500 staff members, it's still unclear if the person got even close to the Queen.

Queen Elizabeth is expected to stay in Windsor even after Easter. Her son, Prince Charles, who is also vulnerable against COVID-19 at age 71, is staying put in Clarence House in London. However, like his mother, the Prince of Wales have set up his work-from-home area and has digitized his meetings with his royal aides to prevent social contact for the meantime.
