Donald Trump is the second youngest child of Fred and Mary Trump's five kids. Since he was young, many reports noted that he was his father's "favorite." This is why some of his siblings, reportedly, held back from competing with the now-US President in several matters.

Last week, the American leader recalled and reminisced a few things about his parents, especially his mother, Mary MacLeod Trump. As stated, he seemingly "reflected" due to the Mother's Day event over the weekend.

Donald Trump shared in an interview with Fox & Friends that he had a "great mom," whom he loved so much. He also said that she loved him, which is "probably not easy to do," the AP reported.

The US President then went on to assert that Mary Trump was "so good" to him growing up. He stated that he could "not do any wrong," to which he deemed a "big problem," as well.

He continued that this is "maybe" the reason why he ended the way he is today. Although he contended that he doesn't really know, he went on to point out that he could not do anything wrong in his mother's eyes.

The publication also commented that this is, "perhaps," what "framed his personality." But, despite the assumptions, reports noted that one could not ultimately discern.

In a similar report released by Business Insider, Donald Trump has, reportedly, praised his mother several times in the past. As explained, he "frequently" highlighted how Mary MacLeod Trump was a "key influence" on his decisions in life. In the end, the US President expressed how much he misses his parents.

The US leader's 88-year-old mother died in 2000. His father, Fred Trump passed a year prior. When asked if Mary would be surprised to know that he is now the President of the United States, Donald Trump, reportedly, said that "any mother would be."

In the same interview, the US President moved forward to wishing all mothers in the United States a "happy day" on Mother's Day. He then, reportedly, revealed that he would spend the day with Melania Trump at Camp David, in Maryland.

He went on to praise his wife as he revealed their plans for the day. He, reportedly, shared that while his mother was a "terrific woman," Melania has been a "great mother" to their son, Barron.

He also seemingly credited his wife for Barron's growth. He is "growing up, very beautifully," the President said.
