George Clooney and Amal Clooney have been the favorite subject of divorce rumors. Almost six years into marriage, there are claims that they have reached their "breaking point" during the nationwide lockdown brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Allegedly, George Clooney and Amal Clooney are feeling the pressure of being in quarantine. They are said to be struggling to keep their marriage afloat, putting them on the verge of divorce.

There are many different stories about the couple's alleged problematic relationship. New Idea claimed their different parenting styles also affect their romance. They even often have disagreements on how to take care of their twins, Alexander and Ella, which result in sleeping in different rooms.

George Clooney also, allegedly, wanted to return to the United States. But, as Amal Clooney already considers Britain as her hometown, she also wants the kids to grow here. From here, the publication derives the premise that they have reached their breaking point and living completely separate lives during the lockdown.

A so-called source told Globe that the self-isolation order put the couple under pressure. The 59-year-old actor was even, reportedly, seen living their house looking distressed, proving their marriage was on the rocks.

The insider added that George Clooney never liked to be bossed around by Amal Clooney, who seemed to be suffocated by always cleaning up after him. The director looked like a grown up child, who just watched TV and movies all day, eating junk food while enjoying virtual calls with his friends. Although they were trying to put on a united front for their kids, there had made a lot of confrontations and ultimatums.

Gossip Cop debunks all these claims. There was nothing to prove that they have marital problems, let alone on the rocks marriage. These publications always claim the exact opposite of their relationship.

The quarantine, in fact, makes the couple closer together, not putting them under pressure just like what they claim. Their marital issues are also unfounded.

If there is one problem that George Clooney and Amal Clooney have, it is their struggle to keep their privacy. According to Vogue, they admitted that they also face relationship challenges, just like others, when they started dating.

However, these issues have nothing to do with their marriage but with their privacy. George Clooney said that they are doing more things inside their home to ensure their privacy, although they know they can never get it. The whole thing about the invasion of privacy and paparazzi started to happen when he finally achieved something happy and important in his life, and that is Amal Clooney and his kids.
