Drake Apologizes To Kylie Jenner For Calling Her His 'Side-Piece', Reality Star Responds

Drake apologized to Kylie Jenner shortly after he played unreleased music with rapper Future on his Instagram Live Wednesday night. The makeup mogul seemingly responded to the controversy by sharing on IG some of her hottest photos for everyone to see. 

The "In My Feelings" rapper took to Instagram Live on Wednesday to tease his new music with fellow artist Future. In the song, he mentioned Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid. But what made fans furious is when Drizzy called Kylie his "side-piece." Drake fueled the earlier speculations that he dated the young billionaire after he referred to her as his "side-piece."

"Yeah, I'm a hater to society / Real s**t, Kylie Jenner is a side-piece / Yeah, I got 20 motherf**king Kylies," Drizzy rap. 

Just a few hours after his IG Live, Drake took to Instagram again, this time to apologize to Jenner for the lyrics and for playing the song. He admitted the mistake and said he has no intention to disrespect his friends. The Canadian singer added that the song was leaked three years ago but got taken down immediately.

The rapper was referring to the time when Future appeared to preview the same song back in 2018. But apparently, it was Future who rapped the Kylie part in the song. 

It is worth noting that this is not the first time the "Hotline Bling" singer sang about the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star. When he released Dark Lane Demo Tapes earlier this month, he also included a cocky reference to Kylie's net worth on the song "Demons."

Meanwhile, Kylie played dress-up at her $43 million Hollywood Hills mansion instead of dealing with the new controversy. Kylie shared several snaps of her in a sexy all-white long-sleeved jumper but seemingly forgot to put her pants on. 

The mother-of-one celeb wrote in the caption that her day is made up of Zoom meetings, suggesting that she doesn't have time to answer controversies because she is busy with her multi-billion empire. 

It has been known that Drake is a close friend to the Kardashian-Jenner clan, despite his past rap beef with Kim Kardashian's husband, Kanye West. Drizzy and Kylie were rumored to be dating after the latter broke up with Travis Scott in October 2019. 

The two were romantically linked in November 2019 after Kylie attended Drake's birthday and Halloween parties. Reports have it that the two stopped hanging out after the media picked up the blooming romance. Drake, however, denied that he is dating Kylie.
