Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been doing plenty of Zoom video calls with volunteers and workers of charities they support during this coronavirus lockdown. However, some royal observers wonder why they've only appeared together once in a video chat. One royal correspondent may know the reason for this.

According to Roberta Fiorito, who is co-host of the podcast Royally Obsessed, Prince Harry and Meghan deliberately appear in separate Zoom calls because they likely don't want to make the videos all about them. Fiorito said that people make a big fuss when they see the Duke and Duchess of Sussex together that the couple don't want that kind of distraction

Prince Harry and Meghan want people to see their work, especially now that they are not members of the royal family and do not have access to such massive media mileage. However, every time they are seen side by side each other, the story shifts to them and not the charity or organization they support.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex currently do not have a social media platform to promote their causes and advocacies. They dropped the Instagram account Sussex Royal after effectively departing the royal family in March. This was part of their arrangement with Queen Elizabeth, who asked them not use their royal titles in their new ventures.

On the other hand, Ann Gripper said in the podcast Pod Save the Queen that the royal pair has been missing having a direct contact with their followers. They have yet to put up their new social media presence for Archewell, the foundation they've established after their royal step back last March.

Yet Archewell has not been officially launched because of the coronavirus pandemic. Prince Harry and Meghan originally planned to have this out by spring but they also pushed back on the big reveal to avoid receiving criticisms from the public. The timing would be wrong for the Sussexes since the world's focus is on eradicating the virus.

Meanwhile, Meghan and Kate Middleton's alleged feud has once again hit the headlines this week. Tatler's coverage, titled Catherine the Great, in reference to the Duchess of Cambridge, revisited the story of how Meghan allegedly made Kate cry during the former's wedding preparations.

Kensington Palace, however, issued a rare statement to debunk the claims published on Tatler. The spokesperson said that the story has plenty of inaccuracies but Tatler is standing by its sources. According to the magazine editor, Richard Dennen, Kensington Palace was aware they were running the article months ago and had worked with some of the staff for the story.
