A Bethesda executive recently shared a piece of disappointing news in connection to earlier rumors that the space epic title "Starfield" could arrive soon. The arrival of the much-awaited title was rumored last week when a rating from the USK was leaked online. The gaming studio has repeatedly confirmed that more official details about "The Elder Scrolls 6" would arrive following the arrival of "Starfield." However, until now it has not revealed the release window of the space epic game.

On his official Twitter account, Pete Hines, the senior vice president of marketing and communications of Bethesda, answered some questions about "Starfield," particularly on the issue about its rating. A popular YouTuber named Skullzi shared a screenshot from the official site of "Starfield," showing the game's recent USK rate from the German rating board. He claimed that games with USK ratings are complete.

In the past, some games were leaked because some eagle-eyed fan spotted their ratings. Also, USK rates trailers for events, which suggests that a possible trailer for "Starfield" is also on the horizon. The anticipation is high about the arrival of "Starfield" as it would mean new information for "The Elders Scrolls 6" fans.

Unfortunately, the Bethesda executive debunked the speculations about the USK rating on the official site of "Starfield." When Skullzi asked him for an official comment about the rating, the executive answered that he was not aware. He added that it could be a glitch or a bug on the game's official site. Hines also said that he would request the team to look into it and get it fixed.

The incorrect USK rating is a different issue to the one reported in the early part of May 2020. Skullzi first discovered the official "Starfield" site with rating placeholders. Many fans were excited about the thought that the gaming studio has made some changes on the site despite the absence of confirmation or announcement that the game was sent to rating boards for certification. The rating placeholder pictures, after all, could be a part of Bethesda's marketing plan.

At this point, it is not clear if Bethesda would reveal more details about "Starfield." However, a few weeks earlier, Hines confirmed on Twitter that details about "The Elder Scrolls 6" would be available following the release of "Starfield." In one of his past interviews, Game Director Todd Howard said that "Starfield" is a next-generation title, which might release on the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Both next-generation gaming consoles from Microsoft and Sony are bound to release in the holiday of 2020. There is a fat chance that Bethesda might announce "Starfield" before the year ends, or probably at the upcoming PS5 game reveal digital event in June 2020.
