Frank Ocean fans are already furious. They could no longer wait for their orders of the vinyl copies of Ocean's music and other merch and are now considering a class-action lawsuit against the Grammy-winner artist.

Furious fans of the "Thinkin Bout You" singer threatened to take legal action for what they said is a ridiculous delay of the delivery of the merchandise that they ordered from Ocean's website, Blonded.co. Many took to Reddit to vent their frustration of the singer and his team for failing to fulfill their promise.

In the Reddit conversation, a fan called out the singer and his team for failing to ship out the products that they ordered in October 2019. The fan said they could accept the overpriced items but not the delay in delivery for eight months and the failure of the singer to explain their shortcoming. The fan was referring to the seven-inch single vinyl of two new songs "Dear April" and "Cayendo that Ocean released in October 2019.

Another fan posted a list of Ocean's possible Federal Trade Commission violations, primarily on shipping delays and failing to communicate to their buyers. It was highlighted in the thread the FTC's law about delivery policies for internet purchases. According to the commission, products should be shipped within 30 days if not otherwise labeled as a delayed product.

If the seller can't deliver within the promised time, they must notify the customer of the delay. It should also provide a revised shipment date and explain his right to cancel and get a full and prompt refund.

It is also noted that for longer or indefinite delays, the seller must get the customer's consent to the delay. If the customer doesn't give his approval, the seller must promptly refund all the money the customer paid.

Other commenters on the thread also mentioned that this is not the first time that they encounter problems when dealing with Frank Ocean's brand. Some fans revealed that customer support agents of the singer's website were clueless when asked about the status of the product that they ordered or if they were already shipped. Some also mentioned that buyers were told that they couldn't get a refund after 24 hours of purchase.

Fans claimed all of their emails to Ocean's brand got hit with an automatic reply about how COVID-19 has slowed down production. The entertainment industry has indeed been severely affected by the pandemic. However, this doesn't apply for merch orders that were placed months before the lockdown such as those of the "Chanel" singer.
