BIGBANG's VIP fandom is calling out Billboard for, allegedly, manipulating the votes on its current poll for Best Boy Band Album in the Last 30 Years.

According to a report by All Kpop, VIPs were shocked to discover that Billboard implemented a restart on voting weeks after BIGBANG was leading the poll with 45 percent of the votes. Fans called out Billboard for deleting the votes that they worked so hard for since the start of the poll period, leaving BIGBANG's MADE with only 2 percent of the votes.

VIPs and other fandoms took to social media to demand for an explanation by trending the hashtag #BillboardExplain after a similar thing happened to other groups who were leading in the polls.

INNER CIRCLE, WINNER's fandom, also, reported that the group was leading another poll by a huge margin when the Billboard deleted the votes. This caused WINNER to slip to fourth place.

The unannounced deletion of the poll results cost BIGBANG and WINNER to lose their hefty leads, when 90 percent of the votes were lost.

According to the fans, if Billboard did not intend for BIGBANG and WINNER to take the win and wanted other artists to emerge as the victors, they should not have let fans vote in the polls in the first place.

Meanwhile, G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, and Daesung have not yet announced when they will make their comeback after a long hiatus. Members completed their mandatory enlistment last year.

BIGBANG was, initially, booked to perform at this year's Coachella Festival but the event was canceled due to coronavirus concerns.

VIPs, recently, shared that they will patiently wait until the members make their comeback stage but appealed to YG Entertainment to act against malicious commenters and unscrupulous fans who are hacking into BIGBANG's playlists on different streaming platforms.

Even while on hiatus, BIGBANG was recognized by Rolling Stone in its list of 75 Best Boy Band Songs of All Time as Fantastic Baby was ranked in 31st place.

According to Rolling Stone,  BIGBANG's Fantastic Baby can be credited for opening many doors for Kpop acts in the global scene. BIGBANG's EP was the first K-pop album was to make it to the U.S. charts and its music video also became immensely popular worldwide.

Fantastic Baby was, also, used in the American musical series Glee and the film Pitch Perfect. WINNER is, also, currently, in hiatus as members Seung Hoon and Jinwoo are, currently, enlisted for mandatory service.
