Queen Elizabeth turned 94 in April. With her advancing age, many have continued to wonder whether she will abdicate to give way to her heirs, Prince Charles and Prince William.

While the speculations have remained apparent in recent months, royal experts have since argued that the British Monarch will not step down. Many believe that she will continue to reign over the United Kingdom and all the Commonwealth nations until her last breath.

Following all the talks, Republic, an anti-monarchist organization that lobbies for the abolishment of the British Monarchy, recently claimed that the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Cambridge are "unfit" to replace the Queen, according to the Daily Express. The group's CEO, then, called out that the U.K. public must have the option to choose for their own head of state.

Speaking to the publication, Graham Smith said that the United Kingdom must now "move away" from "sitting back as spectators." He noted that the people of the country must have a choice as to who will replace Queen Elizabeth.

The anti-monarchist continued that the majority of the public no longer favors either Prince Charles or Prince William, based on polls. He added that not even the other royals from the Windsor clan could succeed the Queen.

Smith, also, claimed that the public now has divided opinion, explaining that many individuals do not like the idea of choosing just between two royals to replace the reigning monarch. He, then, shared that everyone must have a vote, noting that this is called a "republic."

In the same segment, Graham Smith raised his concerns, as well, about Prince Charles' future reign. He asserted that Prince William's father will likely face a "serious political crisis" upon his ascension to the throne.

The Republic's CEO noted that the monarchy tends to survive only because of Queen Elizabeth. He said that the Prince of Wales does not have the full support of the public.

Smith, then, referenced the issues that have since plagued the Heir Apparent, particularly his problem with "interfering with politics." He expressed his concerns that this will be a huge problem, not only for the monarchy but, for the country, as well, if the royal-born Prince chooses not to stop his "meddling."

Earlier this year, Insider revisited the British royal line of succession. If Queen Elizabeth abdicates or passes away, Prince Charles will automatically replace her and become the King of the United Kingdom.

As for Prince William, he will take over his father's place as the Heir Apparent and Prince of Wales. But, recent reports argued that he might not become the next holder of the title because it is not inheritable. He will only become the Prince of Wales if his father decides to give the title to him.
