MONSTA X's Joohoney Drops 'Intro: Ambition' MV From Upcoming 'Psyche' Mixtape

In case you missed it, MONSTA X's Joohoney has already confirmed that his new mixtape will be released later this week. The mixtape titled Psyche was announced last week and it immediately had fans hyped up considering that Lee Jooheon admitted he will be dropping two different MVs for two of the tracks from the album.

Amazingly, the first MV for the opening track "Intro: Ambition" has just been unleashed and it shows off the rapper's trademark style.

The official MV for "Intro: Ambition" was dropped on October 7 and although it appears to have been shot in only two different locations, the song cleverly makes it feel like you are watching four new tracks.

The track is divided into four different acts and showcases Joohoney on his own rapping to the camera. The first two acts No. 1 and 2 are darker and displays a fiery passion while the latter half is more easy-going but still shows off Lee Jooheon's unmistakeable flow.

"Intro: Ambition" is the first of seven tracks that will appear in Joohoney's new mixtape Psyche. The tracklist also includes the title track "Psyche", "Dia", "King", and the song "Smoky" which is set to be the album's second MV.

In addition to that, Lee Jooheon recorded a collaboration titled "Dark & Cloudy" with Boa Kim as well as "Wingsuit" featuring TEM. All songs were written, composed, and arranged by Joohoney himself.

Although the mixtape's release date was a huge surprise for fans, Monbebes were already well aware that Joohoney has been working on the solo effort. After all, the MONSTA X main rapper has been very vocal about his plans for the mixtape and at one point, he revealed some details about the album when he was a guest at fellow idol Minhyuk's radio show Vogue Ship Show.

The new mixtape Psyche isn't the only major release that Joohoney has lined up for Monbebes in the next few weeks. It was also confirmed that MONSTA X's third full album Fatal Love will be dropped on November 2.

Fellow members Shownu and Kihyun have also announced their own OST tracks that will be released this month and I.M. has previously admitted he is also working on his solo album. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

Joohoney's new mixtape Psyche will be released on November 9 at 1PM KST. The third MONSTA X full album Fatal Love is expected to drop on November 2.
