Kylian Mbappe has yet to sign an extension deal with Paris Saint-Germain and reports from France are saying that the 21-year-old favors a move away from Parc des Princes as early as next summer. For fear that they would lose the striker for nothing in 2021, the Parisians are tipped to sell Mbappe and the likely buyer - Real Madrid.

Three European giants have been identified as Mbappe's possible landing spot after his time with PSG but Los Blancos appeared to be the strongest candidate. Liverpool and Juventus are on the list of the striker's options and for specific reasons.

The Italian giants, for instance, are in the running because they can afford the cost of bringing the Frenchman from Ligue 1 to Serie A. AS reported that the Turin club is keen to close the deal and ready to pay up to £360 million to make the blockbuster transfer happen.

And if PSG would be willing to start a discussion, it seemed likely that an agreement would include Cristiano Ronaldo making the jump from Italy to France.

Liverpool too would be a viable destination as Mbappe is a known admirer of Reds boss Jurgen Klopp. In the past, the World Cup winner was quoted raving about Klopp's fantastic work with the Premier League champions. Mbappe views Liverpool as a winning machine and he likely will grab the chance to work with the German manager.

However, French journalist Julien Laurens seemed convinced that Mbappe's exit from PSG will lead him to La Liga. The football expert noted that the PSG ace is a long-time of the Spanish giants and with fellow French, Zinedine Zidane, handling the club, Mbappe is seen to list Real as his top choice.

It's quite possible that choosing between Real and Liverpool will not be easy for Mbappe but in reality, the transfer deal would be completed because of money. It all boils down to who would be willing to pay the price that PSG will ask, said Laurens.

He added that in such a competition, the easy winner would be Real Madrid.

"I think Real Madrid will have that money this summer coming and the one after it as well," Talk Sport reported Laurens as saying.

The journalist pointed out that Liverpool's Klopp shunned from signing Timo Werner in the summer transfer window despite the German striker expressing keenness to join the Reds. The Liverpool boss explained he was not prepared to spend big on Werner and likely will take the same stance on Mbappe, who is estimated to be four times pricier.

According to Laurens, the signs are crystal clear that Mbappe will make the switch in 2021 and the same applies to Neymar, who like his teammate has shunned signing a new deal with PSG despite having a contract that will run out in 2022.
