After months of leaks and rumors, Microsoft finally launched its new generation gaming console, the Xbox Series X and the Xbox Series S. Both devices are backward compatible with a massive library of games that gamers could choose from. However, those who really want to feel the next-generation experience have to get the best Xbox Series X games available right now.

Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War

The game is a direct sequel to the 2010 title "Call Of Duty: Black Ops" that puts players in the shoes of the CIA Officer Russell Adler. The game is set during the Cold War, where the operative is hunting down a Soviet spy. "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War" reintroduces the 6 vs. 6 and 12 vs. 12 game modes and a new 40 player mode. While the game is playable on Xbox One and PS4, gamers who want to experience 120 fps and ray-tracing would enjoy this on Xbox Series X.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla

"Assassin's Creed Valhalla" tasks players to assume the role of a Viking raider Eivor who leads his clan from Norway to England. The new game allows players to develop and manage settlements, raid towns, forge alliances, pet animals, and customize characters. "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" is Xbox Series X optimized and could run at 4K 60fps on Microsoft's premium new generation gaming console.

Watch Dogs Legion

"Watch Dogs Legion" is the latest installment in the fan-favorite "Watch Dogs" franchise from Ubisoft. Among the many next-gen games, it is the only title demonstrating the crucial role of ray-tracing for improving game immersion in next-gen titles. The faster load times allow players to explore a version of London under siege from a regime. "Watch Dogs Legion" offers improved lighting, shadow detailing, and reflections that are only made possible with the next-gen gaming console.

Borderlands 3

"Borderlands 3" releases both on Xbox Series X and PS5. Owners of the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game could upgrade to the game's next-gen versions for free. The next-gen version of "Borderlands 3" introduces vertical split-screen, four-player local co-op, extra add-on content and the new Vault Hunter skill trees. The game is Xbox Series X optimised and could run a4 4K/60fps on Xbox Series X in both online multiplayer and single-player.

Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S are now available worldwide. The premium Xbox Series X retails at $499 while the all-digital Xbox Series S costs $299.
