'Log Horizon' Season 3 Update: The Demolition Of The Round Table Alliance
Fans are now waiting for the coming of Log Horizon Season 3 after almost six years of waiting. Bearing the title Destruction of the Round Table, it may feature the Round Table Alliance's demolition as the name suggests.
Log Horizon Season 3 may mostly focus on the "deterioration" and eventual termination of the coalition Shiroe formed, along with other 10 guilds in Elder Tale. It may also reveal how Shiroe's plans to let the players go back and forth between the game world and the old world will take effect, The Cinemaholic noted.
As the new season begins, Funimation unveiled two new cast members coming to the series. Manaka Iwami will join the anime to play the role of Lelia Mofur and Nanami Yamashita as Litka Mofur.
According to Anime News Network, other cast members include Kengo Kawanishi as Tori, Yuko Kaida as Sarariya, and Youhei Tadano, replacing Keiji Fujiwara, as Regan. Other new additions are Shiori Izawa as Huadiao and Yoko Soumi as Leaf Lotus Nymph.
Log Horizon Season 3 will feature a total of 12 episodes, supervised by Syouji Masuda. Hara handles the original character designs, while Shinji Ishihara is back to the director's seat at Studio DEEN. Toshizo Nemoto will also oversee the scripts, while Shoji Hata returns as the sound director and Yasuharu Takanashi composes the soundtracks.
The anime series is a Funimation exclusive from studio Bind. In its official synopsis, via Anime UK News, it noted a year had passed since Shiroe, and his friends were trapped in Akiba after the Catastrophe.
The Round Table that they have built brought "order and prosperity" to its people. However, the Genius monsters' political alliances and constant dangers bring threats to destabilize everything that they have fought for and built.
Now, the question fans want to get answers from Log Horizon Season 3 is, can faith still be restored as Shiroe and his pals continue to persevere. Viewers also want to know only destruction will prevail in the new season.
Destruction of the Round Table is set to be out on Wednesday, January 13, on NHK Educational TV. The show was supposed to be out in October 2020, but it was later moved due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
