Meghan Markle might have her own agenda when she attends Queen Elizabeth's birthday parade, the Trooping the Colour, in June 2021 in London, and a digital influencer warns that the Duchess of Sussex will step up her game to ensure that all eyes will be on her.

Podcast host, LGBTQ activist, and celebrity Scott McGlynn told The Sun that Meghan will come prepared for the Trooping the Colour event with the royal family. He predicts that the Duchess of Sussex will likely throw the rule book out of the window for this type of royal event and draw attention to her clothing, hair, and makeup to make a lasting impact.

McGlynn said that Meghan is very much aware that millions will be tuning in to watch the Queen's birthday parade, and she will not want to be sidelined by the other members of the royal family, especially those who outrank her and Prince Harry.

The influencer also thinks that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will use this opportunity to announce something related to their life or work. McGlynn said that this shouldn't come as a shock since Meghan and Harry have done this many times before.

Meghan confirmed her first pregnancy during the wedding of Princess Eugenie to Jack Brooksbank in 2018, causing the bride to be upset as the Duchess of Sussex apparently stole her thunder. Royal authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand wrote about Eugenie's reaction in the biography Finding Freedom, stating that Prince Harry's cousin was hoping Meghan would wait before telling everyone she was pregnant.

A few days ago, Meghan and Harry also stole the spotlight from Kate Middleton, who was celebrating her 39th birthday. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex chose this time to announce that they will not be on social media anymore as they launch Archewell, their upcoming foundation.

Sources told The Sunday Times that Queen Elizabeth has invited Meghan and Harry to the Trooping the Colour this June. It will be her 95th birthday parade and the first national celebration since the COVID-19 pandemic cancellations in 2020. Naturally, Her Majesty wants all members of the royal family on the balcony of Buckingham Palace for this big day.

While the event is still months away, the public health situation in the U.K. could change, and there's still a chance that the parade would be scaled back. However, the royal source said that the ultimate objective is to have the Trooping the Colour and to let Harry and Meghan join the royals after spending most of 2020 in the United States.
