Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner face new sets of criticisms as new allegations emerged earlier this week. Sources exposed the couple for, reportedly, restricting Secret Service agents from using facilities inside their home, like bathrooms.

The report first emerged from the Washington Post, detailing how the agents "spent months searching for a reliable restroom to use on the job." As noted, the revelations came from neighbors and law enforcement officials, who have appeared to witness the search firsthand.

The insiders continued that the Kushner-Trump detail first resorted to using a porta-potty. But, after neighbors complained about it, they moved on to sharing bathrooms at the nearby home of Barack Obama. This arrangement came to an end, though, when Obama's detail "banned" the agents from using the facility in question because a Secret Service supervisor allegedly "left an unpleasant mess."

Law enforcement officials, then, recalled how Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner's detail began to drive to Mike Pence's home at Number 1 Observatory Circle, which is over a mile away from their location. There were times, as well, when the agents utilized facilities at local restaurants around the area.

Judd Deere denied the allegations, noting that the Kushner couple did not restrict their security detail from using the bathroom in their 5000 square-foot estate, according to CNN. He deemed the whole narrative as "false," and stated that Ivanka and Jared have always left their home open for the "incredible men and women" included in their detail. He added that it was the Secret Service's decision to look for other accommodations.

A Secret Service spokesperson echoed the White House's official statements. As explained, the agents "makes every effort, particularly at a residence, to conduct protective operations with minimum impact on a household."

Whether Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner restricted their Secret Service detail or not, reports noted that the agents have been using the U.S. taxpayers' money to rent an 820 square-foot basement studio in the couple's neighborhood. The federal government has already shelled out $144,000 to pay for the $3,000 monthly rent since September 2017.

Sources, then, revealed that apart from bathroom and toilet facilities, the estate, also, features an office space with internet and printer and a kitchen. The whole property, reportedly, serves as a "downtime break room," as well, for the agents in the detail.

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner have yet to address the reports directly. But, it appears that they no longer plan to release a statement following the White House's official comment about the controversy.
