Meghan Markle and Prince Harry remain at the center of controversies even after almost a year of living outside the British Monarchy. Ahead of their Megxit review, they face more assertions from various commentators and experts.

Earlier this week, the Daily Express covered a report wherein a journalist stated that the Sussex couple is "shaming" the British Royal Family. Clive Irving, the author of The Last Queen: Elizabeth II's Seventy Year Battle To Save The House of Windsor, said that they are doing it in a "more modest way" than what Princess Diana did in the past.

Speaking to Vanity Fair earlier this month, the author discussed the matter further, alongside his notions toward the future of the British Monarchy. He explained how the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are executing it in recent months with their movements in the United States.

Irving noted that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have a "similar shaming exercise" as the Princess of Wales. Through their relocation to Los Angeles, as well as their deals with Netflix and Spotify, the couple appears to have "leveraged their ideas and philosophies." While it may seem as if they have joined the show business, this is, reportedly, what they are truly intending to do.

Some experts and commentators may have continued to criticize and slam the Sussex couple. But, there are others who have placed them in a more positive light.

A separate report from the Daily Express covered an author's constructive perspective regarding Meghan Markle's relationship to Prince Harry. Speaking to the Daily Star, Sean Smith claimed that the Duchess of Sussex's arrival turned the royal-born Prince "into a better man."

He continued that the former Suits star is a "woman of substance." However, not many people realize this, causing him to hope that this would change in the future.

In the end, Smith countered, though, that he had no intention of "knocking" other members of the British Royal Family. But, "Meghan has a different life experience than them."

To date, there are no official words yet about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's return. It remains undisclosed whether they will fly back to the United Kingdom in time for the review of Megxit.

Some unnamed royal aides claimed, however, that the Sussex couple will likely join the rest of the family in June 2021, according to Insider. This is because Queen Elizabeth will celebrate her official birthday and Prince Philip will mark his 100th year during the same month.
