'NCIS' Season 18 Episode 6 Spoilers: How Will Gibbs Move Forward After Shooting McGee?

Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) is going to deal with the aftermath of shooting Timothy McGee (Sean Murray) in NCIS season 18 episode 6. This incident may cause a lot of changes between the two, even though he shot his beloved agent to actually save his life.

The title of NCIS season 18 episode 6 is "1mm," and it will see Gibbs in a complicated situation. He is trying his best to live his normal life and do his job like nothing happened. He didn't recognize that he needs some time to process everything and deal with it -- not just ignoring it.

In the sneak peek, Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll) is pressing Gibbs to deal with whatever is currently happening around him. This is something that he has to do even though he knows that it will be difficult for him. He wants everyone to see him that he's tough despite the things that he went through.

However, Gibbs also needs to talk to someone -- such as Jack Sloane (Maria Bello). He's been repressing his pain and that doesn't give him a chance to heal from his past. Although he tried to open some parts of his life to others, he's still quite reserved when it comes to his emotions and feelings.

Meanwhile, NCIS season 18 episode 6 will feature another case-of-the-week for the team. They're going to take on dangerous man-made bombs and investigate who's behind this. Ellie Bishop (Emily Wickersham) and Nick Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) were put in danger because of this mission.

Bishop and Torres were caught in the middle of a shootout after receiving a tip regarding smuggled weapons. They eventually found themselves locked in an abandoned jail. Gibbs and the rest of the team will go on a rescue mission to save the duo.

The good news is that McGee seems to be in a good shape in NCIS season 18 episode 6. As seen in some preview photos, he is working on this case alongside other members and Gibbs. Yet, it remains to be seen whether the two patch things up after the shooting incident.

Previously, Murray teased that McGee and Gibbs will have a "realistic fallout" because of what happened. In an interview with TV Insider, he hinted that there's going to be a rough recovery for both characters. The actor teased that the effects are more of emotional impacts rather than physical.
