Prince Charles Felt Harry 'Trashed' Family; Black Choir Defends Prince Of Wales

Prince Charles doesn't think that Prince Harry should have unloaded his issues on national television and felt that his son "trashed" the royal family after speaking to Oprah Winfrey.

A source told Us Weekly said that Charles believed Harry and Meghan Markle could have talked about matters in private than airing their sentiments in public. The Prince of Wales apparently feels that the Sussexes will do more interviews, which will open the royal family and their way of life to public criticisms.

Charles and his eldest son, Prince William, both feel that the bashing of the Crown will impact the future. Harry and Meghan told Winfrey that they did not get enough support from the royals and their staff before they stepped away from the royal duties. The couple also hinted that Meghan's mixed-race might have factored into why she and their son, Archie, were treated differently.

Reports cited that Charles wanted to issue rebuttal to the interview point-by-point. However, Queen Elizabeth nixed the idea and instead came out with a brief statement acknowledging they were unhappy that Harry and Meghan were unhappy at the Palace.

Meanwhile, the Black choir group that sang at Harry and Meghan's wedding in 2018 came to the defend the Prince of Wales. Their founder, Karen Gibson, said that they were personally selected by Charles who even went out of his way to congratulate them after they landed a record deal.

Gibson said that Charles was "sincere" and "gracious" during their interactions at the wedding hence they doubt that he was the racist member of the royal family the Sussexes alluded to. Social media netizens have been trying to hunt down who made the comments about Archie's skin color before the baby was even born.

According to reports, Gibson was also invited to the Buckingham Palace garden after the wedding and spent some time chatting with Charles. He brought his mother along to the party as well and the Prince of Wales welcomed her as well.

Charles ignored questions from the press when he was asked about Harry and Meghan's allegations during a royal engagement a day after the interview. William, however, did the opposite and answered the media. The Duke of Cambridge said that they are not a racist family. He also told the press that he has yet to talk to his brother.

Harry and Meghan's interview raked 17 million viewers in the U.S. and 11 million viewers in the U.K.
