K-pop sensation BTS was the special guest on You Quiz on the Block during the special episode that aired on March 24. However, the ARMY noticed the lack of screen time for BTS member Jin compared to the other boys of the septet group.

As a result of Jin's missing exposures, fans posted their complaints on the official website of You Quiz on the Block. But it took the BTS member's explanation to pacify the ARMY.

Speaking on WeVerse, Jin explained that he personally asked the show to edit out some of his interviews after he realized his answers were too depressing. He didn't want to further upset the fans by expressing his negative feelings.

While the comments section has been tamer since Jin revealed it was his request to cut some of his scenes, the ARMY also said that he should not be ashamed of his true feelings. The fans said that they have no problems with Jin opening up but there were also others who understood his decision to edit out his interviews because it made him uncomfortable and vulnerable.

In December 2020, Jin revealed to his fans that he has also struggled with feelings of depression. In a song for the ARMY, titled "Abyss," the Bangtan Boy said that he's trying hard not to show his sadness while working but he has been dealing with bouts of self-doubts that could be fueled by a burnout.

Jin admitted that he has been seeking therapy to deal with his issues and unhealthy thoughts. But he has yet to take a break from work as BTS has yet to slow down from their successful endeavors.

The group confirmed on March 25 that they are working on a compilation with some Japanese tracks that will be out in the summer. The album will be called The Best and will be released on June 16.

The Best will have 23 tracks especially curated for Japanese fans. But it will also have a new song, titled "Film Out" that will be globally released on April 2.

Meanwhile, the group said that they have been motivated to work harder after losing to Arianna Grande and Lady Gaga for a Grammy award. Suga said that before their career ends, they will be bagging their Grammy in due time. However, Suga also said that they will keep singing and performing "for a long time," despite knowing the stiff competition to get a Grammy.

BTS said that they don't see losing as a failure, especially since they also got to perform for the Grammy audience around the world. Being nominated is just a start for this group everyone, including Jin, is fully committed to securing a return to the Grammys in 2022.
