Meghan Markle Revelation: Why Duchess Will Never Leave Prince Harry?
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry remain at the center of controversies. Months may have already passed since their exit but, allegations and speculations surrounding them continue to develop.
Following their latest movements in the United States, a royal expert and author gave light as to why the Sussex couple will not separate. The Daily Express released a report about Ingrid Seward's "controversial" statements, explaining why the Duchess will never leave her husband.
Amid the launch of her book, Prince Philip Revealed: A Man of His Century, she asserted that the Duke of Sussex is her wife's "entrée" to worldwide fame.
Seward, who serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Majesty magazine, continued that Meghan Markle will "hang on" to Prince Harry because she is nothing but a "starlet." She, then, described how fast the former Suits star acted to secure her husband. She said that the Duchess moved at the "speed of lightning," adding that their "whirlwind courtship" in 2016 was "quick."
The publication recalled that the Sussex couple first met on a blind date in 2016. During that time, Markle was already an "accomplished" actress due to her role in USA Network's legal drama series, Suits. But, after her relationship with the royal-born Prince hit the news, her "global profile" rocketed, expanding further her fame and influence.
Aside from discussing Meghan Markle's intentions, Ingrid Seward, also, revealed how the public now perceives the Duke and Duchess, especially in the United Kingdom. A separate report from the Daily Express shone a light on the latter assertions of the royal expert.
Speaking to the Royally Obsessed podcast, the royal author discussed the current perception toward the Sussex couple. She, later on, revealed that this has since affected her publication.
Seward said that the magazines are no longer selling when the former working royals are on the cover. She added that this became the reason why they stopped getting them on-board for magazine covers.
The royal expert shared, as well, that Hello! magazine experiences the same thing. She claimed that this is what they are telling her, noting how much it no longer works for some publications.
Ingrid Seward deemed the whole scenario as "weird" yet "interesting." She subsequently related it to the "plummeting" popularity ratings of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
A YouGov poll from October showed that there is a significant decrease in their popularity scores. In comparison to their ratings earlier this year, they now have an almost 20-point drop in the charts, suggesting that the British public continues to change their perceptions toward the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
