Kris Wu Sentenced to 13-Year Jail for Rape and Group Sex

Chinese-Canadian music and acting star Kris Wu was sentenced to a 13-year jail term for rape and group licentiousness charges by a Chinese court on Friday.  

Beijing's Chaoyang District Court said in a statement that Wu was given 11 years and 6 months for raping three women in 2020, and 1 year and 10 months for the "crime of assembling a crowd to engage in sexual promiscuity" for a 2018 event in which he and others assaulted two women they had gotten drunk.

Meanwhile, the State Taxation Administration of China also revealed Kris Wu evaded 170 million Yuan ($23,722,143.40 USD) in taxes and will be fined 600 million Yuan ($83,725,212.00 USD).
