Princess Diana's Friend Usually Does This One Thing For Prince George To Make His Grandmother's Spirit Alive

Princess Diana's long-time friend, Julia Samuel, continuously did this one thing to honor her late pal as one of Prince George's godmothers. Although the Princess of Wales has been gone for more than 20 years, she knew that he would have loved Prince William and Kate Middleton's firstborn "so much."

In a talk on How to Fail with Elizabeth Day podcast, the British psychotherapist revealed the presents she usually gives Prince George to keep Princess Diana's spirit alive. The third in line to the throne is about to celebrate his seventh birthday on July 22.

Surely, he will get another gift from her godmother, Samuel. To make him feel that his grandmother is still around, the paediatric counsellor does to the Cambridges' eldest son what Princess Diana did to them by giving him "impossible toys" that are noisy and take days to build.

If Princess Diana were only alive, she knew she "would have loved him so much." Sadly, as the People's Princess was no longer around, it was "heartbreaking for all of them."

According to Express, Samuel, and Princess Diana met in 1987. From then, they remained good friends until the latter's tragic death in 1997. In 2014, Prince William and Kate asked her to be one of Prince George's godparents, along with Zara Tindall, Earl Grosvenor, William van Cutsem, and others.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spend their quarantine time at Anmer Hall, Norfolk, with their kids - Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Amid the pandemic, the future queen consort revealed she created a new for routine for her two eldest kids to make sure that they would continue their lessons, even though schools were shut down.

As a keen lover of outdoor activities and the environment, Kate assured her kids would continuously keep themselves busy by spending a lot of time outside of their home. Prince William's wife let Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis enjoy the outside, play, and explore.
