Indeed, there is a lot of anime series that fans can watch today, but nothing can beat the "creativity and originality" of That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime. Season 1 was a big hit, not just in Japan but all over the world.

So, fans can't help but ask when That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Season 2 will come out. Although the renewal is quite expected, it is still way better to have official confirmation and announcement.

Aside from being immensely popular, the anime series also receives positive reviews from anime critics, thanks to its superb animation, storyline, and creativity. Its manga version, alternatively, just dropped its 15th volume and also becoming renowned, HITC noted.

Crunchyroll revealed a new visual for That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Season 2. It teases the new adventure Rimuru and friends are about to take, along with the latest big bad he and the Jura Tempest Federation have to face.

That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime tells the story of Mikami Satoru, killed by a random killer and later reborn to an alternate world as a slime. He later gets a new name of Rimuru and begins a quest to create a world that will welcome all races.

Originally, That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Season 2 is set to be out this October. However, it was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now, the new season can be seen starting on January 12 next year. It will be divided into two parts. So, the second part will be out in the Summer 2021 anime season.

Between the said months, its spinoff anime series, The Slime Diaries, will be out. FUNimation earlier announced it would release the English dub of That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Season 2. However, it has yet to reveal its official release date.
