Meghan Markle Accused Of Upstaging Kate Middleton And Prince Louis With Archie Paparazzi Photo
Meghan Markle has been accused of upstaging Kate Middleton yet again because of the timing of their photo releases on Thursday, April 22.
The Duchess of Cambridge was the first to share Prince Louis' photo on the Kensington Royal Instagram account because the royal child was celebrating his birthday on April 23. Within hours after Middleton's photo release, reports came to light that the Duchess of Sussex was hounded by the paparazzi in Los Angeles, and they released the photo of Meghan Markle with her two-year-old son, Archie.
Similarly, Louis and Archie's photos both showed them wearing backpacks, sneakers and heading to school. It also showed Markle's growing baby bump as she is due to give birth to her second child with Prince Harry this summer.
Royal fans on Twitter, however, thought Markle's paparazzi shots have been staged to take the limelight away from the Cambridge family. One Twitter user said that there have not been any paparazzi photos of Markle with Archie in nearly a year and then a batch was published online just as Louis' birthday photo came out.
However, a supporter of Markle said that it was the photographer's prerogative to release the photo on Louis' birthday even as the shot was taken days ago. Markle's fan said that it was no longer surprising the Duchess of Sussex will be accused of upstaging the Duchess of Cambridge.
Some of the royal fans also pleaded to leave the children alone, especially Archie, who shouldn't have his photo taken without his consent. The Sussex fans also said that Markle should be able to leave her house with her son without the photographers following them and then later being accused of staging the paparazzi shots.
Markle and Harry have been pushing back on paparazzi agencies for the invasion. They recently won a lawsuit against an agency that declared bankruptcy over the cost of litigation, among other things. Photographers from this agency took photos of Markle with Archie out on a walk while they were living in Canada.
According to some royal fans, Markle might sue again based on this recent paparazzi invasion thus suggesting that this was not likely a staged photo. If she does, then it will debunk claims that she paid off photographers to follow her and her son for PR, as this is a common practice among Hollywood celebrities. In the book Finding Freedom, the authors wrote that Meghan Markle used to set up paparazzi photos as a TV celebrity before she dated a prince.
