As the release date of "Dragon Ball Super: Broly" in Japan draws near, fans have been clamoring for details on how Akira Toriyama will envision one of the series most famous villains. The movie will be focusing on the history of the Saiyan race and how Goku and Broly's pasts intertwine in the canon universe.
"Dragon Ball Super: Broly" has been revealed to be one of the longest as well and will have a runtime of 90 minutes, as revealed by Otakukart. It will be out of the norm for Dragon Ball movies which average just above and below 60 minutes.
With the revealed runtime of "Dragon Ball Super: Broly," it will allow Akira Toriyama and his team to focus in depth on character development, and at the same time, it would contain enough fight scenes to satisfy every Dragon Ball fanatic worldwide.
In the past, Broly has appeared in three Dragon Ball movies: "Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan," "Broly - The Second Coming," and "Bio-Broly." He also had appeared numerous times in the video games. This will be the first time that Broly will appear after 13 years and in the Dragon Ball Super series through "Dragon Ball Super: Broly."
