South Africa is open for business partnership with China, says President Cyril Ramaphosa. He stated that it is proven by his governance's fight against corruption and struggle for economic stability.

President Ramaphosa proudly delivered his statement of its government's readiness for Chinese investments during a business breakfast in Beijing during his first state visit in his term as president.

President Ramarosa South Africa's fifth democratically elected President and he has sworn into office on the 15th of February in 1994. He became president after series of unpredicted political events that caused the resignation of that times president, Jacob Zuma.

In his speech, he has mentioned several obstacles faced by his regime. According to him one of the key issues that his government is facing is the issue of the certainties of policies. He also added corruption as a major concern that the country is facing.

Notable achievements of the South African president were reported. In his first 100 days as a president, he has intervened over state-owned entities where he was labeled as a new broom that will sweep away corruption and inappropriate governance.

His government was reported to push increases in minimum wages that will address challenges in South Africa's Revenue Service and his administration placed investment experts as investment envoys to produce more than one trillion and investment shares to the country.

His interventions on state-owned entities, like Eskom and SAA, included the finalization of turn-around strategies which are focused on mandate positioning and the development of the African market, strengthening of structures in governing businesses, and stabilizing the country's finances.

He expressed his assurance that the issues laid down in his administration are carefully addressed to ensure safety for business investments in South Africa. He added that the policy certainty for business ventures is one of the main concerns of business leaders and he will work for clarity of policies and he stated that his administration is now working to root out corruption in the country.

President Ramaphosa faced lots of challenges during his term as president. His administrations worked on countering land invasions. His government also faced problems concerning the distribution of government services to the whole South African population.

He stated that his appearance in the business meeting assures South Africa's preparedness in accepting Chinese investments for the country. After the meeting, he is reported to meet his Chinese counterpart, President Xi Jinping. It is expected that Chinese investments and policies will be discussed as the two world leader convenes.
