US implemented an increase in the rate of their US Postal Service and the Chinese businesses increase growth as its effect. The increase in the postal rates in the US decreases the shipment costs of Chinese merchant's products.

Chinese merchants are enjoying cheap shipment of products and it has become emblematic of the imbalance in the trade between the countries and also the disadvantages that the US companies are suffering against their competitions in within the United States.

Chinese products are rampant online and it mostly these products come at low prices without additional postal fees included. Though these products create suspicion because of their cheap prizes, still sales of the products continuously increase within the US soils.

The Forbes cited a customer's comment in an online portal stating that several items were bought on Ebay that came from China or Hong Kong. It was stated the buyer purchased a 4 pack of rechargeable batteries for 99 cents with free shipping. The buyer also purchased a pack of the ear but extension cords with volume control at a price of 89 cents without shipping fee. The Forbes reported that the customer was puzzled at how the Chinese can sell the items so cheaply and how it was shipped all the way from Asia at those prices.

The reason for the low shipment prices of the products is because they receive subsidized postage rates. Some might think that this is a Chinese plot to disrupt fair trade and that it might increase their advantage in the trade. Forbes stated that everyone needs to realize that the American people are questioning the wrong government.

The low shipping sates were subsidized by the US Postal Service. According to the Forbes, the US taxpayers are paying their bill to so that the Chinese traders can ship their products to the country at a low shipping cost. According to the Forbes, the increased postal rate creates a million worth of loss to of the American government and it is being undercut by foreign merchants who are given access to all intellectual property and consumer safety laws.

The Forbes pointed out that the US Postal Service made a special contract with Chinese carriers that allow tracking-enabled packages not exceeding 36" or products weighing over 4.4 ponds to be delivered to the US at the lowest prices.
