BTS is now more than a Korean-based boy band. That is because they are finally moving to the big screen. The group has recently announced the premiere date of its first feature movie.

According to Variety, BTS confirmed that the film called "Burn The Stage: The Movie" is set to premiere on November 15. It follows the Kpop group during their massive 2017 tour called "Live Trilogy Episode III The Wings."

The tour mentioned above of BTS reportedly lured half a million fans across 19 cities and 40 concerts. The movie, which is built from a YouTube series of the same title, will showcase many live performances and behind-the-scenes footages. It will also include some new interviews with members of the band.

BTS' "Burn The Stage: The Movie" is helmed by Park Jun Soo. The movie will also highlight the group's international success, which gave them the opportunity to tour in different places across the globe and speak in front of UNICEF members.

BTS (also known as Bangtan Sonyeondan) is a 7-member Korea boy group formed by Big Hit Entertainment and is composed of members, V, Suga, Jimin, Jin, J-Hope, Jungkook, and RM. They just recently released a brand new album called "Love Yourself: Tear," which caught international attention and became the first K-pop album to obtain the number one spot on the Billboard 200 album chart, ComingSoon reports.

The global following of BTS has helped the band spiral towards international success. Although it is not first Kpop group to reach the U.S. mainstream, it is the first one to have gotten success.

In related BTS news, there is reportedly an ongoing debate about whether or not all BTS members should join their country's military service. It is worth noting that they are also subject to compulsory military service, just like all men in the country. Hence, it is very likely for them to be called upon for the said service.

Some fans, however, do not take it likely. They believe that BTS, due to the honor they brought to South Korea, should be exempted. That the members of the band must be part of the country's list of exemptions, which includes Olympic medallist, as well as some artists and athletes, Stripes reports.

This debate has finally been answered, thanks to the country's culture minister named Do Jong-hwan. It turns out that all members of BTS committed to enlisting, though they did not provide any timeline.

"The seven members of BTS say they'll enlist for military service," said the minister of culture, sports, and tourism in response to a question during a parliamentary audit.
