Meghan Markle, the former American TV star and now the Duchess of Sussex who is married to Prince Harry, could be making a potential return to television. Reports have it that producers of her former show, "Suits," which airs on USA Network, would like to bring her back for a two-minute cameo.

Executives at USA Network's umbrella company, NBC Universal, are working out a $6 million to bring Markle back to the show, according to Daily Mail.  She could even use the money as a donation for a charity of her choosing.

The plan is to have Markle return for a short scene, which would be filmed in the U.K. Thus if she agrees to the cameo, it won't even disrupt Markle from doing her royal duties because work on the set could only take half a day.

Markle may likely appear as her character, Rachel Zane, who is now happily married and pregnant to her soulmate Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams). It will mirror pretty much her real life since the actress is heavy with child and is due to give birth to her first offspring with Prince Harry in the next few months.

Producers of "Suits" are also reportedly hopeful that they can get Markle to say a couple of lines in her cameo. But the source revealed that negotiations between Markle and the TV bosses have not yet been finalized.

Markle said her goodbye to "Suits" in the final episode of season 7 last April 2018. It saw her character getting married to her on-screen partner, but she filmed her last time on the set on November 2017.

The actress decided to quit acting after her engagement to Prince Harry was officially announced.  Months before that, Markle also has scaled down on her public life as a celebrity by shutting down her lifestyle website and social media accounts, so a return to television could be a stretch.

In an interview with BBC, Markle said that she wanted to focus more of her energy towards her duties as a royal. She also realized that she has this big opportunity and responsibility to support the advocacies and causes that are near and dear to her heart, so she left Hollywood to show that she's serious about helping other people as a member of the British royal family.
