After an epic season finale, fans are now wondering what will happen to the lives of Liza (Sutton Foster), Kelsey (Hilary Duff), Charles (Peter Hermann), and more in Younger Season 6. The new season is expected to tie all the previous chapter's loose ends as it now moves to a new network.
In an interview with the TV Land president Kevin Ray, via OtakuKart News, he said they are honored to continue Younger Season 6 led by its brilliants cast Sutton Foster and creator Darren Star. He also revealed the new season would be "amazing" because of the exciting things they planned for the characters.
Ray has yet to reveal Younger Season 6's plot, but there are reports it will mostly focus on Charles and Liza's relationship. The two's romance is said to develop after all the things they have been through.
The previous season ended with a lot of changes that made fans confuse. Kelsey replaced Charles as Empirical's publisher, Claire (Anastasia Barzee) showed up at Josh's (Nico Tortorella) door pregnant and Zane (Charles Michael Davis) got a job at a new company. With these turn of events, how things will play out in Younger Season 6?
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Foster and Star teased what might happen in Younger Season 6. "Are we going to see Charles in the townhouse in his boxer shorts hanging out in his pajamas while Liza goes to work? How is that dynamic going to affect their relationship?" Foster said. "It'll be interesting."
Star also added fans should see how Younger Season 6 would unfold as Liza and Charles' dynamic would be different. He also said Kelsey's new job could bring in new challenges that she would never expect. He even teased there would be more romances between Diana (Miriam Shor) and Enzo (Chris Tardio), and it would be out where Zane works while Kelsey's former lover would still be a part of the show.
Meanwhile, fans will see Younger Season 6 in a new network, Paramount Network, when it returns to the small screen. The show started on TV Land in 2015, per The Cheat Sheet.
Star said in a statement that he was thrilled to continue Younger Season 6's new journey on Paramount Network. He continued to say the network's President of Development and Original Programming Keith Cox and his team inspire him with their "passion and enthusiasm."
