However, avid followers of the show need not worry because the Fox just confirmed that Prison Break Season 6 is totally happening. So, what should we expect in the imminent sixth installment?
Reports about the fan-favorite series coming back for another season sparked in January 2018 after Fox Entertainment boss Michael Thorn confirmed that Prison Break Season 6 is already in the works. The network exec even shared that the management and the series cast, and crew are very thrilled about the imminent sixth installment.
Thorn's revelations were backed up by Fox CEO Gary Newman, who stated that the next season would bring back the cast of the previous installments. He added that Paul Scheuring was the person who pushed the network to make Prison Break Season 6 come into a reality.
Dominic Purcell, who is one of the series' lead stars and plays the role of Lincoln "Linc" Burrows, even shared a photo of the series' logo on Instagram with caption: "#PrisonBreak 6. In the works." Aside from Linc, other character who are expected to make a come back in Prison Break Season 6 include Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller), Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell (Robert Knepper), Benjamin Miles "C-Note" Franklin (Rockmond Dunbar), Dr. Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies), and Fernando Sucre (Amaury Nolasco).
