Oliver Queen (played by Stephen Amell) has become the primary suspect in a series of murders on Arrow season 7 episode 20. Now, it is up to his friends to clear his name or prove that he has been framed.
To get to the bottom of this problem, however, Dinah (played by Juliana Harkavy) had to call on an old friend to save Oliver. Fortunately, Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) has agreed to return to the present-day and take charge as the Arsenal.
The group has to find a way to stop the Ninth Circle from doing more damage and causing more casualties on Arrow season 7 episode 20. The theme and tone of this episode, however, follows a narrative similar to true crime shows.
Photos from Comic Book Movie hint that the team will be investigated by the Star City Police District in Arrow season 7 episode 20. However, it won't seem like the group would like to cooperate based on the stern look on their faces.
Roy's return to the present day was announced in early April via TV Guide. Fans are hoping that this will finally fill in the blanks that were left unanswered when Roy's character transported 20 years into the future at the beginning of Arrow season 7.
But the return to the present day must also shed light on where Roy's current state is especially with his relationship with Thea (played by Willa Holland). Will viewers finally learn why he's all alone in his dystopian world in the future?
Meanwhile, Arrow season 7 episode 19 has confirmed that John Diggle (played by David Ramsey) is Green Lantern, also known as John Stewart in the comic book versions. His real identity has been hinted in a few episodes before but this week's airing finally clarified the connection.
Diggle had to seek the help of his stepfather, a general, in the hopes of helping the team thwart the Ninth Circle in Arrow season 7 episode 19. As it turned out, his stepfather is a General Roy Stewart, which makes Diggle part of the Stewart family.
Ramsey spoke about playing Green Lantern with ComicBook. While he did not confirm nor deny anything, the actor admitted he's a bit psyched up with the direction of his character.
"That's something that we don't know is ever going to happen, but the teasing of that is what I think makes that so special," the actor said. "This guy is not part of that at all, but to make him part of that is a really interesting idea."
Arrow season 7 airs Monday nights at 9:00 p.m. on The CW.
