A big fight is about to happen in Billions season 4 episode 8, and both Axe Capital and Taylor Mason Capital will be competing in this arena. The episode, set to air on Sunday, May 5, at 9:00 p.m. on Showtime, will also have Wendy (played by Maggie Siff) suffering huge set back that will put her career at risk.
Billions season 4 episode 8 will open with Axe (played by Damian Lewis) giving Rebecca (played by Nina Arianda) some advice about a new business venture. Chuck (played by Paul Giamatti), on the other hand, will have to go head to head against U.S. Attorney General Jeffcoat (played by Clancy Brown), as per the episode synopsis.
But the big fight will relate to a boxing match supported by the companies of Axe and Taylor (played Asia Kate Dillon), as seen in the episode preview teaser. The latter seems pretty determined that they will be able to beat Axe on this, but then he's just too good of a manipulator.
Axe has already caught on to Taylor's scheme in a previous episode of Billions season 4. So, he has come up with a different plan to foil the person he trained.
Now, Wendy may have finally caught herself in a big bind after scaling two outposts back and forth in Billions season 4. Working for two powerful men has its perks, but it also has a dangerous fallout, should she fail. While she's playing Taylor and helping Axe scheme, she's also helping out Chuck. But she'll make one misstep in the coming episode that will have big repercussions.
Meanwhile, Showtime has not yet announced if Billions will be coming back for a season 5. The show still has at least four more episodes left to air before the season finale. However, in the likelihood that Billions is renewed, one main star won't be returning.
According to TV Line, Malin Ackerman (as Lana Axelrod) may not sign up for Billions season 5 as she's planning to do other projects. She has scaled down her appearances in season 4 and has been tagged as a recurring cast member.
As Lana, Ackerman's storyline may have been expounded given that she divorced from Axe in the third season. Thus, it would be easier for the writers to give her character a graceful exit at the end of Billions season 4.
