GOT7 wins first place with “Eclipse” on SBS’s Inkigayo. Second place was Davichi’s “Unspoken Words,” and third place went to Lim Jae Hyun’s “If There Was Practice In Love.”

The popular South Korean music program aired its latest episode with energetic and fun performances from K-pop idols, along with actress Shin Eun Soo, Seventeen's Mingyu, and special MCs Lim Ji Min and VERIVERY's Kangmin. This week’s performers include GOT7, Kim Jae Hwan, The Boyz, Lovelyz, CLC, Weki Meki, AB6IX, ONEUS, Lee Hi, Cherry Bullet, and more.

The lead song from their newly-released EP Spinning Top: Between Security & Insecurity, “Eclipse,” was written by GOT7’s JB, under his producing moniker DEFSOUL, in collaboration with a variety of other songwriters. It is a melodic future bass dance track that puts the septet's charismatic vocals and smooth raps to the forefront over pulsating beats and squelching synths.

This is not the first time that GOT7 won with “Eclipse.” On the May 30 episode of M Countdown, the nominees for first place were GOT7’s “Eclipse” and WINNER’s “Ah Yeah.” GOT7 took the win!

Following the win, GOT7 members and fans expressed their joy on Instagram and Twitter making #ECLIPSE1stWin trend first worldwide and trend in several countries as Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Italy, Brazil, Iran, and Australia.

GOT7 also revealed a special music video for "Eclipse." The 'Thank You I GOT7' version of "Eclipse" is a special release to thank fans, and fans get to enjoy the amped-up performance MV.

“Eclipse” is GOT7’s first single of 2019, and precedes their upcoming Keep Spinning world tour. A tie-in with the album, which is GOT7's ninth EP since they got their start in 2014, Spinning Top: Between Security & Insecurity features six tracks, all of which are co-written by members of the act, with Yugyeom, Jinyoung, Youngjae (as Ars), and BamBam also credited on tracks.

GOT7 will soon come stateside to continue promoting Spinning Top as part of their 2019 Keep Spinning world tour that kicks off in Newark on June 27 before stops in Toronto, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Oakland. While in Korea, the guys have been releasing special performances and videos of their Spinning Tops tracks on YouTube, including this version to thank their fans, known as iGOT7.
