BTS is arguably one of the most successful K-pop bands in K-pop history. But all ARMYs know that the success of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook didn’t happen overnight.
The BigHit Entertainment group reached the superstardom level because of their hard work and perseverance. But during their Japan tour interview, Suga and RM explained a little further why they are successful.
“SNS is a huge part of our success. Some people say we succeed only because of SNS, but truthfully, we thought of many ways to make ourselves known,” Suga said. “People often questioned us and tried to stop us, but we worked hard. Sometimes people would ask why we were using a particular platform, but the difference comes from who is using it and how it’s being used, not this platform is better than others.”
Despite their huge success, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook always appreciated their humble beginnings. They have never forgotten where they came from and how it all started, which made the BTS boys not only great performers but amazing men as well.
“I think the secret of success is ‘sincerity + skill,’” RM added. He also shared that other people only focused on how they used SNS to their journey and didn't pay attention to the fact that they are singers, so they also make sure that their music and performances are great for the fans. With that in mind, we want to spread our message, so we communicate with people more vis SNS,” the BTS leader said.
Although they worked so hard to reach what they have right now, BTS always acknowledges their fans for their success. They know that without the ARMYs, they will not be living their dreams. This is the reason why Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook always do live broadcasts to talk to the fans even though their schedule is super hectic and they’re tired from all their activities.
Every time BTS wins an award, Jimin would always say the fans won. He would do a live broadcast or take a picture with the trophy to congratulate the fans. They don't see their win as their sole success.
And this attitude helped them in their journey. For fans, there is no better feeling than being appreciated. BTS is the real deal; they are talented and down to earth.
