Danny (played by Lincoln Younes) is going to be navigating a more complicated situation in Grand Hotel on ABC. The actor recently dished that his character will have more trouble when some guests arrive at the hotel where he is the waiter.
In an interview with Hollywood Life, Younes said that Danny is keeping a lot of secrets that will compound the mysteries of Grand Hotel. Apart from his sister's disappearance, Danny's life will become more complicated with the arrival of a few some guests who might get in the way of why he's there.
In the previous episodes, Danny shared that he came to the Grand Hotel to find out why her sister has gone missing. However, there's a reason for these complications teased in the show. In the bigger scheme of things, every plot point and storyline on Grand Hotel is leading up to the big unveiling regarding Sky's case. Thus, viewers have to carefully follow the story and look out for the clues.
"Every character is involved in some way in her disappearance. Everyone is complicit in a way," the actor said. "I think each episode a little piece is revealed, which builds up to a finale, and you will get clarity about her. There is a payoff for the waiting and the mystery."
Meanwhile, Grand Hotel episode 5, which airs on Monday, July 15, will bring more rules to affect Danny's blossoming relationship with Alicia (played by Denyse Tontz), as per the episode synopsis. Viewers will recall that they shared their first kiss in the previous episode, but this romance might be prevented to flourish because of the rules.
Ingrid (played by Anne Winters), on the other hand, will be asked to take a paternity test, as revealed in the teaser of Grand Hotel episode 5. She has to prove her claim that she is pregnant with Javi (played Bryan Craig) as the alleged father. However, will Ingrid instead be proven to be a liar and a schemer?
Grand Hotel is based on a Spanish drama series about the hotel staff of a Miami Beach resort. Santiago Mendoza (played by Demian Bichir) owns this establishment along with his wife Gigi (played by Roselyn Sanchez).
The tale is like a classic upstairs/downstairs story in the way of Downton Abbey where there's drama happening between the healthy guests as well as the lowly workers. Grand Hotel also stars Wendy Raquel Robinson, Shalim Ortiz, Chris Warren, and Feliz Ramirez.
