The baptism of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's first-born son, Archie Harrison, was supposed to be a celebration. However, a body language expert revealed that she saw nothing but tension with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Dr. Louise Mahler told the Daily Telegraph that the family photos released by the palace following Archie's baptism should cause concern and worry. She went so far as to predict that Prince Harry and Meghan's marriage will not last.
The expert said that the photos did not reflect joy or celebration. Meghan's upper body was tense, and while Prince Harry's arm was around her, the photo did not convey energy or connectedness.
Mahler also noticed that Prince Harry did not have photos where he's looking at his wife. She said that it appears the prince may be depressed and Meghan might be a controlling spouse.
"He seems oblivious to the fact that she's looking at him," the expert said. "It's like he's denying that and staring at the baby instead. They are a supportive couple (but) it looks almost as though he cannot look at her, and her look is not one of soft love."
The expert worried that Prince Harry would one day break and separate from his wife. The doctor believes that their relationship could still have a chance if the Sussex "break away from the Royals."
However, Prince Harry and Meghan were packing on the PDA at a royal charity polo match last Wednesday, July 10. Elle posted photos of the Duke and Duchess as they shared a sweet but rare public kiss while Meghan was carrying their son.
As the prince played with his brother Prince William, Meghan was cooing and cradling little Archie under a tree shade. Nearby, Archie's cousins Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis were also playing by the grass with their mother Duchess Kate Middleton watching over them.
Meghan's presence with her son was unexpected since she's still on maternity leave. She won't be going back to her royal duties until the fall.
Meanwhile, Meghan is also expected to be back at the Wimbledon finals this weekend to cheer on her friend Serena Williams. There was some controversy over Meghan's attendance at the tennis event last week because her bodyguards prevented the press from taking photographs as it was not a royal event. According to TMZ, this upset some BBC reporters and royal observers because Meghan acted like a celebrity than a royal.
