Fans have been worried about T.O.P as it was clear that his marijuana controversy truly affected him. VIPs all around the world trended the hashtag #StayStrongTOP on Twitter after the BIGBANG star took a dangerous amount of anxiety pills when the controversy broke in 2017, landing him to the hospital.
Luckily, the 31-year-old rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor survived the ordeal and fans didn’t want to experience the same fear for his life ever again. With that said, VIPs made sure that T.O.P didn’t have to face negativity from the media during his discharge, and planned a secret fan meeting with him instead.
After the successful outcome of the plan, T.O.P took to Instagram to thank the fans for being there for him, literally and figuratively. However, the YG Entertainment artist’s post clearly showed that he still hasn’t fully moved on from his marijuana controversy.
“Even though I am not proud of myself, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all the fans who made time and efforts to share this moment with me,” T.O.P wrote. “I will make sure to reflect on my self and repay the hurts and disappointments I caused to you. Again, thank you. Until I see you again.. love, T.O.P.”
But on July 7, T.O.P shared an Instagram story, showing just his white sneakers and a pair of black pants. This update was enough for the fans to feel relieved as the idol appeared to be on a much better state of mind a week after his discharge.
The BIGBANG star then posted a selfie on the social media platform, which is his first after completing his mandatory military service. While the picture didn’t share any detail as to where he was, his Instagram stories revealed that he was in an art studio.

T.O.P shared a couple of paintings on his Instagram story. Since his caption on his selfie is “Not for U, Just for my Eyes open,” it is possible that he was checking out some exclusive pieces of art. The BIGBANG star is known for being a serious art collector and curator. With this update on his social media, it seems that T.O.P found comfort in art after his discharge.
