V is enjoying his success as a member of BTS, but it seems that the idol may be changing his image. Photos, posters, and standees of the 23-year-old singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor were spotted with TWICE, making it look like he’s shifting teams.

BTS is known for their pop-funk, hip-hop, and soft rock music, while TWICE is famous for their cutesy, bubblegum pop songs. This is going to be a huge change for V if he is going to join Jihyo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu.

So is V leaving the BigHit Entertainment boy group to become the 10th member of TWICE? The answer is pretty simple — No. But fans are having a grand time making it look like he’s part of the JYP Entertainment girl group.

BTS and TWICE share cute interactions during award shows and events. So when both groups performed a few lines of each other’s songs at 2016 KBS Song Festival, ARMYs and ONCEs went wild.

It’s quite clear that BTS and TWICE are each other’s fans. But Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook didn’t need to be around Jihyo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu to sing their songs and bust out their famous cute dance moves.

Some of the boys jammed to “Cheer Up” on their own, and their turned-up version of TWICE’s hit song is hilarious. But fans particularly took notice of V being a ONCE, and they decided to add him to the group.

Fans added V’s poster in the middle of TWICE’s lineup, and it’s just too good not to notice. While his photo still identified him as a BTS member, it was strategically put in the lineup that will make passersby do a double look.

That’s not all. Fans also added V’s standee with other female idols at a LOONA fansite exhibition. Netizens joked that maybe this is the reason why he’s gone missing in some BTS promotions because he’s busy being a girl group member.
