Marty and Wendy Byrde, played by Jason Bateman and Laura Linney respectively, are going to get their hands full on Ozark season 3. Running a casino business will be troublesome for this couple, especially with more FBI agents on their back.

According to Project Casting, Ozark season 3 is looking to add at least two more FBI agent minor roles for the current production. They will work alongside Jessica Francis Dukes, who has been cast as Maya Miller.

Dukes' character is a by-the-book FBI agent and forensic accountant who will be dropping in on the Byrdes at their riverboat casino in Ozark season 3. She has an objective to take this couple down for the money laundering activities, per Deadline.

But Ozark season 3 is also casting a bunch of minor but interesting roles. Among them are the cartel men with Hispanic or Latino heritage, a jazz trio, a lawyer, a female event planner, some patients in a mental institute, and couples with children.

The plot of Ozark season 3 has been a well-guarded detail, but it's certain that the FBI will be on the tail of the Byrdes after the death of one of their own the second season finale. However, the Kansas City mob and the Mexican drug cartel will also be a threat to the lives of Marty, Wendy, and their kids.

These gangs will hold a stake in the casino business and will likely compete for gains. But Ruth Langmore (played by Julia Garner), whom Marty had entrusted as casino manager before the second season ended, will be clashing with one of them. Will her life be on the line as well?

Suffice to say Ozark season 3 will be a messy ride yet again. Viewers will be in for many surprises and shocking twists as it was in the previous seasons.

However, the wait for the show's return could take a while longer. According to Netflix LifeOzark season 3 might drop on Netflix around summer 2020 since filming will still wrap up this coming October. The delay, however, should bid well for the series since Ozark takes place in a summer resort town. The first teaser to Ozark season 3 might likely be out by the last quarter of 2019.

Meanwhile, the first and second seasons of Ozark are still accessible on Netflix. Viewers who have just discovered the show have a lot of time to catch up before the third season premiere.
