It's been three years since One Direction went to hiatus and the members ventured on solo projects. However, the fan-fiction romance between Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles continues. In fact, it was even teased in an episode of HBO's hit series Euphoria.

In a new interview with The Guardian, Tomlinson opened up about the continued conspiracy theory that he and Styles dated. The fan-fueled shipping of the two artists started at the heights of One Direction's popularity in 2011. It continues up to this day even though the 1D members no longer perform together on stage.

When asked about the rumored romance, Louis admitted that he is tired of it. The alleged romance has been dubbed by fans as "Larry Stylinson."

"I know, culturally, it's interesting. But I'm tired of it," Tomlinson told The Guardian.

A proof that fans still stan the Larry Stylinson ship is HBO's Euphoria. In one of its episodes, the teen drama showed an animated version of Louis and Harry together through the mind of a character who writes fan-fiction on the show.

Louis admitted that he is pissed of the scene. The singer added he is annoyed that some big company such as HBO could do such thing.

This is not the first time the "Two Of Us" singer spoke about the Euphoria scene. When it was released, Louis expressed his displeasure about it. He answered a fan tweet about the scene and revealed that that the show did not reach out to him about being the subject of one of its scenes nor did he approve it.

Despite the continued buzz about Harry and Louis dating speculations, Tomlinson has learned how to ignore petty rumors. The 1D member confessed that, since his mother died in 2016 and the sudden death of his sister earlier this year, he believed that he had hit his rock bottom.

Louis' mother died from leukemia in 2016 while his 18-year old sister, Félicité, was found dead in her apartment in London in February. A recent inquest ruled that Félicité's death was an accidental overdose caused by a cocktail of drugs prescribed to her after the death of their mother.

The X Factor judge said losing his loved ones have given him the strength to cope with any adversity that comes his way. Tomlinson confessed that now he feels that he can deal with any challenges that will come his way and it will be easier because of the dark days that he had been through for a couple of years.

The singer added that success had new meaning to him now. Tomlinson said he is happy to what he has achieved as a solo artist. Louis, recently, released his new single "Kill My Mind" and currently working on his debut album. His first solo album is expected to drop in 2020.
