The Royal family members know a lot of people, but they only keep quite a few real friendships. Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein have been friends for quite a long time, which is why the Duke of York was dragged into the latter's controversy.
After shocking news broke about Jeffrey Epstein’s scandal, all eyes were on Prince Andrew, knowing that he had close ties with the billionaire. Although the financier and accused sex trafficker took his own life in August, the investigation didn’t end with his death.
Authorities are still trying to identify more of his victims and Prince Andrew’s link to Jeffrey Epstein’s scandal. “The US investigation is focusing on several potential victims in the hope that they can provide more details about Prince Andrew and his connection to the Epstein case,” a source from the Department of Justice, which oversees the FBI, told the Times.
Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein’s accusers, said that she was forced to have sex with the Duke of York on three separate occasions when she was still a minor. The victim, who was only 17 years old at the time, was even photographed with the Duke of York's arm around her. Despite his royal status, an insider shared that, “they are not going to dismiss it [claims relating to Andrew] because he is a royal.”
Prince Andrew had denied the claims multiple times, stating that he was not involved in Jeffrey Epstein’s scandal. He also noted that he had no idea that Epstein was abusing women. However, the FBI needs to investigate everyone linked to the case and, unfortunately, for the prince, the victim mentioned his name.
Even Dai Davis, the former head of royal protection at Scotland Yard, agreed with the FBI. “It’s in everybody’s interest including his own and the alleged victim for there to be an investigation - and I mean a proper investigation - into Prince Andrew... No one is above the law,” he told CNN.
The investigation of Jeffrey Epstein’s scandal is still ongoing. The case still has a long way to go, but the most shocking speculation of all is that many claimed the billionaire is not even dead at all. Many believed that his death was faked and that a high and powerful person, presumably Prince Andrew and even Bill and Hillary Clinton, helped him get away with it.
