Now that she is a member of the royal family, Meghan Markle still has staff working for her. Her life as a celebrity would have already given the Duchess of Sussex the idea of how to deal with the staff, but a report claimed that she’s very bad at it.
Just like some reports about Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Sussex is once again being compared to the Duchess of Cambridge. This time, however, it is about handling their staff members, and fans of Prince Harry’s wife are not very happy about it.
According to a royal insider, Kate Middleton is a great and reasonable boss. “She takes the time to listen to ideas from the most junior members in her team,” they said. “Afterwards they’ll say, ‘Wow, she knows my name. She asked me what I thought’. She is also loyal and ‘if you make a mistake will back you regardless.’”
As for Meghan Markle, she was branded by palace insiders as “Duchess Difficult.” The Sun alleged that the Duchess of Sussex berated one of her staff members and Kate Middleton reportedly told her not to do it.
After reading the story, Meghan Markle’s fans are outraged, saying that there is no truth to the claims. They even demanded that the publication should apologize for the false report.
“Another apology for you to print after yet more lies about Meghan,” one fan commented. “Trash! Liars! Hopefully, you’ll be apologizing for this, too,” another one wrote.
The Sun, previously, apologized for a false report about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle banning the staff from using a car park near Frogmore Cottage, which is why the fans are pointing out that it should be apologizing “again.” According to Harper’s Bazaar, the publication did not only apologize but also corrected the story.
However, fans of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are not satisfied with the apology. “If it’s on the front page so should the apology be,” one netizen wrote. “Why isn't this on the same page and the same font as the original,” another one commented.
Meanwhile, people are not only comparing Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle but also their husbands, Prince William, and Prince Harry, respectively. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were slammed for using private jets during their trip in August, while the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were praised for looking less fancy as they traveled via a commercial flight to Scotland the same month.
