Little Christopher Diaz (played by Gavin McHugh) and his father Eddie (played by Ryan Guzman) will work through some issues after that devastating tsunami in 9-1-1 season 3. The little boy might have survived the natural calamity but he'll be reeling from that trauma, after going down in the water, in the upcoming episode aptly titled "Triggers."
According to the episode synopsis for 9-1-1 season 3 episode 4, which airs on Monday, Oct. 14, Eddie will help his son try to cope with his traumatic experience. However, it looks like Eddie will be having a tough time as well as Cinema Blend has pictures of the character trying to control his rage over what happened to his son, who has cerebral palsy.
Eddie's rage will be the focal point of 9-1-1 season 3 episode 5, which airs the next week. This anger, however, will apparently begin to rear its ugly head in the fourth episode.
Viewers will recall that Eddie had no idea his son was underwater during the tsunami in 9-1-1 season 3 episode 3 because he thought he and Uncle Buck (played by Oliver Stark) were safely at home. Buck had Christopher safe during the first wave of the tsunami but the little boy went missing for a few hours when the second wave hit.
Buck was devastated about what happened to Christopher and couldn't even come up with the words to tell Eddie the bad news. Yet, the little boy somehow mysteriously appeared safe with a stranger. At the end of 9-1-1 season 3 episode 3, Eddie forgave Buck for what happened and told him that he could still babysit Christopher anytime he wants.
Meanwhile, 9-1-1 season 3 episode 4 will still feature professional MMA star Ronda Rousey (as Lena Bosko) as a special guest. She is briefly shown in the teaser helping out some boys with their mother who are in a dangerous car accident.
Does this mean that Lena will now be working with Capt. Bobby Nash (played by Peter Krause) and his team of first responders? Did she asked to be transferred since her boss has become indisposed?
Elsewhere in 9-1-1 season 3 episode 4, a family squabble over heirloom has the first responders pacifying siblings. Maddie (played by Jennifer Love Hewitt), on the other hand, tries to have a potential wife abuser be dealt with. Buck, meanwhile, has some good news for his boss. Is he finally given a healthy pass to go back to work?
