It has become quite common to hear news about BTS V breaking records and going trending on social media. This time, Kim Taehyung added another notch to his winning streak for reaching 200 million views on VLive in the fastest time.

According to a report by All Kpop, V posted a video on VLive last June while they were on tour and it broke through the 200 million views mark this month. This means that it only took the BTS member four months to reach the milestone.

V or Kim Taehyung overtook the record previously set by BTS' golden maknae Jungkook, who took six months to reach 200 million views.

Apart from setting the new record on VLive, V also had a productive weekend when he expanded his fanbase after BTS' Love Yourself Speak Yourself concert in Saudi Arabia.

According to a separate report by All Kpop, V became the top trending topic worldwide as Saudi Arabians took to Twitter to share their curiosity about him.

Since it was the first time BTS performed in the Middle East, fans were still unfamiliar with all of the members' names so new ARMYs reached out to netizens to find out who the BTS member with the green mic was.

BTS V trended the topic the one with the green mic as well as for his name Taehyung on Saudi Arabia. But, even before he won fans over with his trendy microphone, he already drew the curiosity of the audience when he stepped into the stage looking like a Shinigami for his Fake Love intro.

He also impressed new fans with his amazing performance of Singularity, which quickly climbed into the trending topic worldwide.

Singularity peaked at #11 trending topic worldwide as fans gushed about Kim Taehyung's powerful performance and strong visuals. V also broke into the trending topics of 37 countries worldwide as ARMYs interacted online about BTS' first concert in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This should not come as a surprise for most fans because V's loyal fanbase has earned him a strong reputation when it comes to brand collaborations. While BTS is already strong when it comes to brand value, Kim Taehyung, in particular, is known for selling out products in record time.

His Midas Touch, when it comes to sales extends to his music, merchandise and apparel, is making V-inspired products fly off the shelves in minutes. In particular, his Eau de Musk scent and his Mattel doll were the first to sell out among BTS collaborations.
