But, as the princes grew older, they look like a mix of their mom and dad, although the Duke of Cambridge still maintains a strong resemblance to the Princess of Wales.
A royal fan shared a before and after photo of Prince Harry making the same expression, and many adored the cute moment. “He is so much fun!!!! Life is short we should all smile and be just a little silly!!!!” one netizen wrote. “Wow you haven't changed in looks,” another one commented.
While a lot of the comments were about Prince Harry’s “cute” expression, there were those who observed that he looked a lot like his dad. “He looks like Prince Charles there,” one shared. “He does look like Prince Charles in this photo,” another one wrote.
Of course, a son looking like his father is nothing unusual, but what made these comments significant is because it was previously rumored that Prince Charles is not the biological dad of Prince Harry. Some netizens claim that his real dad is James Hewitt, a former cavalry officer in the British Army who admitted to having a romantic link to Princess Diana.
Prince Harry, just like James Hewitt, is a redhead. Since Prince Charles had dark blonde-brunette hair and Princess Diana had blonde locks, many wondered where the Duke of Sussex got his hair color from, which led to speculations that he may have a different father.
“Prince Harry’s not even of royal blood [his] real dad is James Hewitt,” one wrote. “Don’t even think Harry is a proper royal looks too much like James Hewitt to me,” another one added.
Princess Diana was, reportedly, upset with these claims and explained that Prince Charles got his red hair from the Spencers (Diana’s side). Despite this explanation, people still kept on comparing Prince Harry’s photos to James Hewitt, stating that they look more alike than him and Prince Charles.
