BTS Jimin's growing international popularity is drawing the attention of world-renowned artists. In a recent interview, American filmmaker Gus Van Sant handpicked the BTS member as one of the stars he wants to collaborate with.

Gus Van Sant is well known for directing award-winning films like Good Will Hunting, Milk, and Elephant. He was also responsible for the screenplay of My Own Private Idaho, which also took home several honors. Apart from his work in film, Van Sant is also renowned in the art circles for his photography and music. In his answer, he unexpectedly mentioned the name of BTS Jimin as a potential subject of his photoshoot. During the interview, Van Sant was asked which actor he wanted to collaborate with for his future projects. Though Van Sant said that he had his eye out for someone who is not an actor, he specifically mentioned Jimin from BTS because he had a "certain peacefulness" about him. The director implied that he would like to include Jimin in one of his film projects and even floated the idea of using him as a model for one of his photoshoots.
