Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, appear to be clashing with their father, Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales. According to reports, if the Sussex royals continue to act in a "disruptive and disreputable manner," the heir to the throne might consider cutting off his younger son and his family.

The Sussex royals' lifestyle and operations are partly supported by the sovereign grant and by Prince Charles' income from his 135,000 acres of land as the Duke of Cornwall. A senior insider revealed to The Sun that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's recent pronouncements in the media and actions towards the royal family have been seen as an attack on the monarchy so the fallout could result in the fund cut off.

Apparently, the tension stemmed from the fact that Prince Harry and Meghan "don't take advice well and shut out" views that run contrary to what they want to do. The cracks in their relationship with Prince Charles, reportedly, deepened further when Meghan Markle decided at the last minute to cancel attending her father-in-law's exhibition opening.

Sources said that Prince Charles was excited to have his daughter-in-law be the center of attention at the event. She, reportedly, decided not to go after learning that this will be filmed for Prince Charles' documentary.

Reports stated that Meghan Markle didn't want to be in the star in another royal's documentary. Per Dan Wootton of The Sun, the decision might be petty but it also showed real tensions and competition between the royal family.

Prince Charles was also, reportedly, furious at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle because their documentary is still causing quite a stir. Meanwhile, his own documentary for his recent trip to Japan was, apparently, ignored by the public. Because of this, the senior royal, allegedly, felt that he was undermined and overshadowed by his son, whose lifestyle and work engagements he is supporting and paying for.

Nevertheless, driven by his love for his son, Prince Charles was still said to be worried about Prince Harry's emotional revelation in Harry & Meghan: An African Journey. Sources said that the Prince of Wales' fears were similar to his for worries for Princess Diana. Like his mother, Prince Harry feels emotions and pain with intensity.

The report went on to say that Prince Charles will defend his son in public. In private, however, he's rather reportedly quite irate with what has been going on in the royal households.
